Father
Agustín Moreira spent his school years
at the San Ignacio de El Bosque and, later, studied
Agronomy at Universidad Católica de Chile.
For four years, he managed a farm in the locality
of Padre Hurtado, on the outskirts of Santiago,
never imagining that, 13 years after joining the
Society of Jesus, he would become the successor
of Father Hurtado, in charge of the latter's main
achievement: Hogar de Cristo.
In 1996, he traveled to Spain to obtain a licentiate
in Moral Theology and to pursue a Master's Degree
in Bioethics at the Universidad de Comillas, in
Madrid.
He was ordained in 1998. |
