1)
Origins and Sense |
 |
(PARENTESIS)
Foundation is originated by the merge of the Hogar de
Cristo Social Risk Area and Credho Foundation. Both
organizations have been working for decades to develop
highly technical and specialized programs for people
with psychological and social problems. The actions
carried out by this foundation are based on universal
principles and values that recognize the dignity of
human beings, their rights and obligations, as well
as their social nature. |
|
| |
(PARENTESIS)
represents the need of not judging people but receiving
them as they are, by promoting spaces of freedom. To
put into brackets, the name of the Foundation, means
that painful or problematic experiences can be transitory
in people’s life, and those experiencing them
are not defined themselves and identified by these painful
experiences.

Social Programs |
| |
The objective of these programs is to receive, support
and offer specialized assistance to people who live
in specially vulnerable situations and social exclusion,
by promoting their dignity and social inclusion. These
programs are based on one hand on the respect of people’s
rights and on the other on highly technical knowledge
and methodologies.
We receive children, young people
and adults through the following programs:
Free therapeutic programs for young people and adults
who present drug abuse. This program is carried out
in transitory and residential models.
Nursery and kindergarten assistance for those children
whose mothers are involved in a residential therapeutic
process;
Free specialized and timely legal assistance to minors
who are or have been deprived of freedom, due to trials
in crime and/or minor courts (imprisonment, under
discernment statement, under criminal procedure or
illegally deprived of freedom);
